Building : Round hourglass-shaped metal or fiberglass tower, painted white. A view from the strait shows the light at the foot of Çimenlik Kalesi (castle), built by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1452. The first two lights were mounted on the castle and the third was a skeletal tower.
